Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect struggles with in vain.
~ Carl Jung ~
The fabric of our experience on this planet has been changing rapidly, and like Dorothy who was swept into a tornado and dropped into the strange land of Oz,
we are challenged now to deal with the conundrums and complexities of these new and disorienting times.
Working with the mind, and the anxieties that arise with the demands of daily living, has led me into the depth psychology of Carl Jung and its application
in the symbolic process of Jungian sandplay. In my work, I encourage people to connect with the deepest aspects of themselves to create a sense of inner balance and harmony, and to release the tensions and inhibitions that interfere with productive, conscious living.
As a Jungian analyst and depth sandplay psychotherpist, my entire life has focused on the integration of mind, body, and spirit as a way to access inner wisdom, awaken creativity, and expand consciousness.

Jungian analysis is a process of personal growth
that expands consciousness and fosters a more authentic and fulfilling life.
It plays a vital role in what Carl Jung calls the individuation process,
and provides the tools necessary for individuals to establsih communication between the conscious and unconscious aspects of the mind.
Bringing unconscious thoughts, feelings, and motivations
into conscious awareness allows individuals to live
more harmoniously with themselves, and with others.
In my work as a Jungian analyst, I create a safe and supportive space
where inner feelings can be shared, hidden attitudes brought to light,
and intuitive wisdom recognized.
Together, in an atmosphere of open relaxation, we explore the
conscious and unconscious roots of inner tension and conflict,
heal the residue of past trauma and emotional pain,
and address inner conflicts and confusion.
I encourage the exploraiton of dreams, sandplay, art,
and creative activities, as ways to stimulate personal growth,
access the inner world, and connect mind, body, and spirit.

Dreams are considered a direct, although difficult to decipher communication from the unconscious. They can help to decipher unresolved conflicts, hidden fears, and unspoken desires that influence behaviors and attitudes unconsciously. Understanding these symbolic messages from the psyche, and bringing them into consciousness is an important aspect of personal development.

Jungian dream work a core aspect of Jungian analysis. It focuses on exploring and interpreting dreams to gain insight into the unconscious mind. The rich symbolic content of dreams is a valuable way to understand the deeper meanings and messages from the unconscious.
Dreams may reflect both personal issues and universal themes from the collective unconscious. Analyzing these aspects can help in understanding both individual and shared human experiences, and amplifying dreams in imaginative ways can clarify their meaning more deeply.

JUNGIAN SANDPLAY
Sandplay therapy was developed by Dora Kalff, an analyst in Switzerland who was encouraged by Dr. Carl Jung. He saw sandplay as a method for experiencing
the Self, which is essential for the healthy psychological development and the
individual. Sandplay is a form of active imagination, and encourages
participants to engage with their inner world through visualization
and creativity.
In my office I have a wide variety of mineature figures, symbols,
and objects from around the world that can be used to create scenes
in a small tray of sand. It provides a direct pathway to the unconscious and
encourages a deep and foundational sense of psychological wholeness and balance.

Like dream work, sandplay facilitates the exploration and integration of unconscious aspects of the psyche. It is the natural language of childern, and allows free expression
for the inner child in all of us. You can learn more about sandplay HERE.
